Mc Laren Gulf n° 24/25 Le Mans 1995 (ref P24003)

From the beginning, the competition version is looking like a formidable racing car. Mc Laren enters seven F1 GTR at the ’95 edition of Le Mans. Furthermore, five from the seven Mc Laren safely reach the finish line, and four are in the top five! the car has only received minor modifications for the race. . The body is made of carbon fibre, the BMW engine, a V12 with 6000 cm³ and 640 CV. Gulf, the prestigious sponsor, chose two Mc Laren: n°24 and 25. The drivers of the Mc Laren n°24 are Sala, Bellm, and Blundell. The drivers of the Mc Laren n°25 are Alliot, Owen-Jones, and Raphanel. The n°24 reaches the fourth in overall placing. But Mc Laren n°25 had less lucky: P. Alliot crashed quite heavily out of the race in the 7^th hour and became the first Mc Laren retirement. First participation and scratch victory, in 1995 the Mc Laren GTR is certainly the most exceptional GT.
