For its second participation, Peugeot wins the race of 24 Hours of Le Mans. This car shows the best of the technology : V10 of 3500 cm³, 680 CV, kevlar/carbone for the chassis and carbone for the brakes – weight: 750 kg. Peugeot Talbot sport enters 3 cars and the n°1 (Dalmas, Derek, Blundell) wins the race in front of Toyota and Peugeot n°2.
