Porsche 962 C Shell Dunlop n° 17/18/19 Le Mans 1988 (ref P24011)

The Porsche 962 C is an evolution of the 956 version. The main modification is a 12 cm longer wheelbase. The engine is a 3 L biturbo with a new electronic fuel injection, the Bosch Motronic. For Le Mans 1988, there are new rules, new back-hood , thicker and lower. After an exciting race against the Jaguar, the superb yellow-red and black 962 n°17 (Stuck-Ludwig-Bell) finishes second on overall placing.
