Porsche 962 C Shell Dunlop n° 17/18/19 Le Mans 1988 (ref P24011)

The Porsche 962 C is an evolution of the 956 version. The main modification is a 12 cm longer wheelbase. The engine is a 3 L biturbo with a new electronic fuel injection, the Bosch Motronic. 1989 is the year of Sauber Mercedes. Wollek/Stuck save the honor of Porsche with the pink 962 n°9 of the Joest Racing team : leader during 10 hours, and finally the 3^rd place after some technical problems.
