Jaguar XJR 5 n° 40/44 Le Mans 1985 (ref P24015)

The Jaguar XJR5 are entered for the consecutive second year on the race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The chassis is in kevlar/aluminium, the body in kevlar. The engine is the 6 l V12. Most of people hope in the 2 cars, a serious adversary against the Porsche. But many small technicals problems slow down the progress of the race for the 2 cars. The n°44 is 13^th in general, 22 years after the type E de Cunninghan-Grosmann ( an another american “Jag”).
